Skoda cars recall: Skoda Auto India has called back its three popular vehicles Slavia, Kushak and Kiqa. The company has recalled more than 25,772 units of these three models. The reason for this is a technical fault found in these cars.
This malfunction is to the safety of passengers sitting on the back seat. According to reports, if these cars collide from the front, the back seatbelt buckle launch plate can break. In such a situation, webling of the back -middle seatbelt assembly will not be able to work properly with the back seatbelt bakal, which may cause passengers at risk of injury.
The company has said that this recall is for units of these three cars built between 24 May 2024 to 1 April 2025. Skoda Auto India will contact the affected vehicle owners themselves and their cars will be corrected for free. Customers will not have to pay any fee for this.
