Many people were left stunned by the extortionate cost of this year, including . However, now that Easter is over, a lot of are slashing the cost of the treats.

However, have been left stunned that is now that the event is over. Customers of the budget store have gone online to admit they , as many others rushed to bag the bargain eggs. Now one shopper who has managed to find the 9p eggs on Aldi shelves has taken to TikTok to share which particular eggs are included in the deal.

An account that uses the handle shared a video with the caption, '9P EASTER EGGS!!!!'. The clip saw them walk in to an Aldi store as overlay text read: 'Oh my God, run to Aldi for 9p Easter eggs.'

The first eggs which were seen on the screen were Aldi's Dairyfine Bubble Tea White Chocolate Cup Easter eggs, which were formally £5.59, but now 9p.

The Dairyfine 'Free From' egg was next up, with the milk-free, soya-free and gluten-free egg being slashed down from £2.09 to 9p.

Also included in the deal was the Dairyfine Charlie the Chocolate Labrador egg and activity which had been cut from £1.99 to the bargain price.

The video showed you could even get an Easter egg hunt kit for 9p as well as Bunny and Chick-themed Hot Chocolate Bombes.

Aldi's specially selected Double Indulgence Egg, which was previously on sale for £8.39, was also included in the deal, however the TikTok video showed that those eggs in the particular store had sold out.

The video then showed the shopper heading to the till, where the 9p prices were confirmed on the screen. They ended up buying seven Easter eggs in Aldi, with the total price coming to just 63p.

People were loving the video, with it racking up more than 14,000 likes and hundreds of comments.

One person said they would be "heading down tomorrow" to get some, while another admitted their mum "bought them all".

Another person admitted: "We got 17 eggs," while someone else confessed they got 12.

It seems like word has spread fast though as many people said their store had no stock after it had been sold out. One person said: "My Aldi don’t have any." While another added: "I went there they're all out of stock."

The move from Aldi comes after before the event.
