National Testing Agency i.e. NTA has released the results of the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination i.e. NIFTEE 2025 (Stage 1), candidates who appeared in the exam can check their results on the official website . This entrance exam is for admission to Graduation, Post Graduation, and PhD in NIFT for the academic year 2025-26.

The Nifty Stage-1 exam for Bachelor of Design (B.Des.), Master of Design (M.Des.), Master of Fashion Management (MFM), Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech.) and Lateral Entry (B.Des. and BFTech.) was conducted on 9 February 2025 at 91 centers located in 81 cities of India. The exam was conducted in Hindi and English. The examinations were conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) or Paper-Based Test (PBT) mode.

NTA said that NIFT Stage 1 result has been declared for all the programs except Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech). The results of this program will be declared separately in due course along with the final results of all UG and PG programmes. NTA has said that there has been no second-stage examination for the BFTech entrance exam.

NTA further said, 'Shortlisting for Stage 2 consisting of Situation Test, Studio Test and/or Personal Interview (as applicable) has been done based on the performance of the candidates in Stage 1 and as per the approved category wise seat matrix and shortlisting criteria prescribed by NIFT'.

It said that the candidates have been shortlisted category-wise in a 1:4 ratio (one seat: four candidates). Shortlisting for PWD candidates has been done with the additional condition that they must secure at least 50 percent of the cut-off marks of their respective category.

For UG Programmes (B.Des.): Shortlisted/Not Shortlisted for Situation Test

For PG Programmes (M.Des., M.F.M., M.F.Tech.): Selected/Not Selected for Interview

For B.Des. (NLEA): Selected/Not Selected for Studio Test and Interview

For B.F.Tech (NLEA): Selected/Disqualified for Technical Aptitude Test (TAT) and Interview

NTA said that the dates of Stage 2 examinations will be announced separately through the official websites. Candidates can check the NIFT Stage 1 Result using their application number and date of birth.
