Sinners post-credits scene explained: Michael B. Jordan's Sinners is making waves on the internet. The film is a Southern Gothic horror story, written, co-produced, and directed by Ryan Coogler, and it’s performing impressively at the box office. Set in the Mississippi Delta in 1932, the movie stars Michael B. Jordan in dual roles as twin brothers who return to their homeland hoping for a fresh start, only to confront a terrifying demonic evil. The gripping plot and intense atmosphere have sparked widespread discussion, particularly about the film’s post-credits scene. If you missed it or are looking to dive deeper, we’ve got you covered.

Sinners post-credits scene

The sequence that plays during the opening credits of Sinners is basically an extension of the film's last scene as per Forbes. The scene picks up 60 years later, with an elderly Sammie performing in a club on a guitar that has been restored to its factory-original state.

The story of young Sammie (Miles Caton) is more or less bookended by the mid-credits sequence. Forbes also states that a number of observations on Sammie's life as a young man are included in the mid-credits sequence, along with the vampires' alluring offer to give the aging bluesman immorality.

Additionally, there is a post-credits scene in which the younger Sammie signs a song ‘This Little Light of Mine’; similar to the mid-credits scene, this scene does not set the stage for a sequel. Rather, it seems to be an encore performance by Caton, a real-life R&B artist.
