Ahmedabad -based Matter Motors has finally officially launched its flagship electric motorcycle 'Matter Ara'. But this is not just another EV, this is the world's first gear electric motorcycle, that is, now EV riders will also get the thrill of changing gear.
Till now electric two-wheelers used to come without gear, but Matter Ara has launched an electric bike with a 4-speed manual transmission gearbox, breaking this tradition, which gives the experience of running the petrol engine motorcycle.
The ex-showroom price of this high-tech bike is Rs 1.88 lakh. But if you join the initial 500 customers, then you can get this bike for just Rs 1.74 lakh. And not only this, the company is also giving these customers a lifetime free warranty on the battery, whose value is up to Rs 15,000.
Matter Ara has a 10 kw electric motor, which can catch a speed of 0 to 40 km/h in 2.8 seconds. It has three riding modes, including features like Eco, City and Sport Mode. Along with this, there is an inbuilt active cooling system, so that powertrain is always cold and performing ready.
It has 5KWH high energy IP67 certified battery, which is completely safe from dust, water and heat. The company claims that it gives a range of 172 km in single charge. With a fast charger, you can charge it up to 80% in 1.5 hours. Not only this, the company claims that this bike can save up to Rs 1 lakh compared to petrol bikes in 3 years.
This electric bike has a 7 -inch touchscreen display, which shows all the necessary alerts such as calls, SMS, navigation and battery. It has smart features like OTA updates, smartphone connectivity, and remote lock, geoofing and service alert.

The bike has dual disc brakes, ABS, telescopic front suspension and dual rear shock absorber, which ensure better performance in any kind of road condition. Let us tell you that Matter Motors has recently launched its manufacturing unit in Ahmedabad, and so far the company has received more than 40,000 pre-book requests. Delivery will also be started soon.
