The heartwarming act of courage caught national attention after Khushboo shared a moving video on Instagram, capturing the emotional moment she found the baby inside a roadside shanty.
In the clip, she is seen gently picking up the child, comforting her with kind words, and walking her to safety. While netizens praise her compassion and bravery, many are also curious to know more about the woman behind this noble deed.
Khushboo Patani is a former Lieutenant in the Indian Army, is the elder sister of Bollywood actor Disha Patani. A native of Bareilly, she completed her schooling at BBL Public School and later pursued Electronics and Communication Engineering at DIT School of Engineering. After clearing a competitive government exam, she went on to serve as a lieutenant—earning the admiration of her family and the country.
Disha Patani has often expressed her pride in Khushboo, once calling her a “Wonder Woman” for her military service. Khushboo rose to fame when pictures of her in an army uniform circulated online, and since then, she has built a strong presence on social media. With nearly a million followers, she regularly shares glimpses of her life.
Now 33, Khushboo works as a fitness coach and entrepreneurial counsellor, continuing to inspire through both strength and sensitivity. Her recent rescue video, captioned with an emotional appeal—“Jako rakhe saiyan, maar sake na koi. I hope she will be taken care of by the authorities. Please save the girl child in our country!
