Tezzbuzz Desk – Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has once again launched a scathing attack on the Central and Uttar Pradesh governments. This time he targeted BJP over the controversial question paper of Banaras Hindu University.
While talking to the media, Akhilesh Yadav said that the kind of questions being asked in prestigious educational institutions like BHU is very worrying. He alleged that all this is being done as part of a well-planned strategy.
Akhilesh Yadav said that first a society or class is defamed and then controversy is created by asking questions on the same issue. He said that BJP is behind all these incidents and the environment of educational institutions is being spoiled.
He said that the dignity of the institution established by a great personality like Madan Mohan Malviya is being harmed. According to Akhilesh, the prestigious universities of the country are being made arenas of politics, which is not good for the education system.
In fact, the controversy started after a question to “Brahminist patriarchy” was asked in the question paper of an examination recently held in BHU. Many organizations including Brahmin Mahasabha objected to this and called it an insult to the Brahmin community. After this the matter seemed to take on a political colour.
During this time, Akhilesh Yadav also attacked the government regarding the NEET exam paper leak issue. He said that the future of lakhs of students and their families across the country has been affected.
The SP chief said that despite such a big incident coming to light, the government failed to take effective action. He alleged that names of people associated with BJP have also surfaced in paper leak cases. Akhilesh sarcastically said that now it has become not “NEET exam” but “leaked exam”.
He said that due to this whole matter, not only the students but also their families are going through mental and financial problems. The government should stop playing with the future of the youth.
Apart from this, Akhilesh Yadav also cornered the government on the rising prices of petrol, diesel and LPG. He said that BJP should tell the public why fuel prices are being continuously increased.
The SP supremo said that inflation is continuously increasing and the life of the common man is becoming difficult. He raised the question why the government does not talk openly about the falling value of the rupee.
Akhilesh Yadav sarcastically said that it seems as if the rupee is continuously going towards “underworld”. He claimed that the government is avoiding responding to economic issues, while the people are facing the brunt of inflation and unemployment.
