Doja Cat launches European tour with live debut of ‘Lipstain’
Doja Cat kicked off the European and UK leg of her Tour Ma Vie World Tour with the first live performance of her new track Lipstain during a Dublin show.
The Grammy-winning artist premiered the song on Tuesday night as part of the tour supporting her fifth studio album, Vie.
Fan-recorded videos circulating online captured loud cheers from the crowd as Doja Cat took the stage under purple-lit visuals and performed the track for the first time live.
Lipstain appears as the ninth track on Viean album that blends retro-inspired synth-pop with R&B influences while continuing the rapper’s genre-crossing approach to music.
The Dublin concert marked the opening show of the European leg following performances from opening act Naomi Sharon.
The singer is now scheduled to continue the tour with stops in Glasgow on May 21, Manchester on May 23, Birmingham on May 26, and London’s O2 Arena on May 29.
Ahead of the album’s release in September 2025, Doja Cat described herself during an interview with CBS Sunday Morning as “a rapper that makes pop music,” reflecting the balance she has aimed to strike creatively.
Vie has been viewed as a stylistic evolution for the artist, with critics noting its use of 1980s-inspired production while maintaining her distinct songwriting and performance style.
