Now the International Olympic Committee has also released the dates of the event. Under which the competition of male and female class will start from July 12 and will run till 29 July. Talking about the medal match, the medal match of the Mains cricket team will be held on July 20 and the medal match of Women’s cricket team will be held on 29 July. A total of six teams will participate in it.

Will be held in T20 format

The cricket will be played in the T20 format at the 2028 Olympics. T20 cricket has expanded considerably in the last few years. Team India’s star cricketer Virat Kohli has a big hand in the return of cricket in the Olympics. In fact, the 2028 Olympic organizers mentioned Kohli’s global popularity and influence in the decision to include cricket.
