The sudden demise of businessman Sunjay Kapur has shocked many in both the entrepreneurial and entertainment world. The 53-year-old industrialist passed away after suffering a heart attack during a polo match reportedly after swallowing a bee. Sunjay had been married thrice and Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor was his second wife. He is currently married to Priya Sachdeva and very less is known about her first wife.
Who is Sunjay Kapurs first wife Nandita Mahtani?
In 1996 Sunjay Kapur tied the knot with fashion designer and socialite Nandita Mahtani. Their marriage lasted four years and the two parted ways in 2000 when their divorce was finalised.

Nandita hails from a business family. Her brother Bharat Mahtani is a businessman and her sister Anu is married to billionaire Sanjay Hinduja. Well Nandini is not just a socialite but also a popular fashion designer in Mumbai. She has collaborated with several celebrities and has styled many Bollywood stars. Apart from her work Nandinis love life has also been a topic of interest. According to reports in early 2000s she was in a relationship with actor Dino Morea with whom she co-founded the fashion label Playground together.

Later Nandita was briefly linked with Ranbir Kapoor. The actor previously  admitted that he was attracted to Nandita. I found her beautiful simple and warm so unlike the socialite she is made out to be. We went out for dinners it was nothing serious. Mum knew I had a crush on her. Ranbir once said.

In 2017 Nandita got engaged to actor Vidyut Jammwal. The couple made their relationship official on Instagram soon after. Unfortunately things didnt last long and the two later parted their ways.

Following his divorce from Nandita Sunjay married Karisma Kapoor in 2003. The two have children together- a daughter Samaira and a son Kiaan. In 2016 their divorce was finalised. Sunjay later married Priya Sachdeva in 2017 with whom he has a son named Azarias.
